Thank you for subscribing to the HAVEN blog! HAVEN is an initiative dedicated to realizing the dream of a new large Coptic church and community center in Jersey City, NJ.

St. George & St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church has been a pillar in the Jersey City community for over 45 years. Through this blog, we hope to make you aware of the tremendous progress made thus far in the building of a new home to accommodate the growing needs of our church community. Please keep your eye out for news on future milestones and events.

Tomorrow’s Town Hall: Tomorrow, on our YouTube channel, the church is hosting a virtual town hall to discuss the progress, challenges and upcoming steps in the next phase of the Sip Avenue construction. There will also be a presentation giving more detail on the HAVEN initiative. Please join us here. The presentation will be 7:30-8:30 PM for Arabic speakers and again at 8:30-9:30 PM for English speakers.
