A reminder that on Monday, December 28, 2020, every dollar contributed towards the Sip Avenue construction project will be doubled up to $50,000! This match is one-day only so we encourage all parishioners to take the blessing. We have received so many questions regarding the match so are addressing those below:
How do I donate online?
- Only on Monday, December 28th, click HERE to find the donation page.
- Select “Haven 2020 Match Campaign” from the drop-down menu.
- Donate any amount big or small – all donations up to $50,000 will be doubled.
How do I donate with cash or check?
We understand that with the temporary halt of in-person church services, it is difficult to give in-person. For anyone who wants to give in-person, we will be accepting cash or checks in church (835 Bergen Avenue) tomorrow, Sunday, December 27th before 11 AM. Please knock or ring the doorbell and someone will meet you at the door to accept your donation. Please signify in the memo that your donation is for the HAVEN Match Campaign.
Can I donate earlier than Monday, December 28th?
Match Day is only Monday, December 28th. However, if you are donating cash or check, you can donate on Sunday, December 27th before 11 AM as stated above.
Can I deduct the full amount of the “donation”?
Yes, all donations to St. George and St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church are tax-deductible. Donors have access to their Giving Statement at any time itemizing all of their donations to the church.
