At the end of 2022, we kicked off The Road Home campaign with two goals: (1) To match a $75,000 donation and (2) To increase automatic monthly contributions towards the project by $50,000 before the end of December to secure a loan. When we last updated you, we informed you 129 people made one-time donations contributing a total of $233,663.60. When combined with the $75,000 match donation, this totaled $308,663.60. Also, by Match Day, we were able to increase our monthly ACH giving by $40,246 per month.
This was a great accomplishment and we are so blessed to now be able to announce two pieces of exciting news:
- The Church Board signed the loan documents with TD Bank and the loan closed on May 12th!
- The Church Board signed the final construction contract with Promethan!
The loan amount is for a total of $15,700,000. This is a result of God’s love as well as your tremendous generosity. With this loan, we will be able, through God’s grace, to fully realize the dream of our new home on Sip Avenue.
After thoughtful discussion with multiple professionals, it was determined that it was in the church’s best interest to complete the project in a single phase rather than multiple phases. We are happy to partner with Promethan, a reputable contractor who is both highly professional, reputable and experienced in the industry and timely.
More building updates!
- The outside shell of the Gym Building is 80% complete. The roof material was delivered and is being installed and once that is done, plumbing and electrical work will start.
- The steel is mostly complete for the Church & Services Buildings and we are waiting for the domes and steeples. Framing for the exterior and interior walls has started. The metal roof is complete and concrete floors are mostly finished.
